Communication
At Burning MUD, we are more than just a hack and slash game, we are a group of friends. We value communication, so we have many different ways to allow you to communicate with each other and with the gods.
There are several channels which you can toggle off or on, which allow you to communicate or otherwise keep track of what is going on elsewhere in the game. Gossip lets you speak to everyone else in the game, and you can use ^tell^ to speak with a particular player. Channels for groups, classes, and multiclasses let you narrow down who you want to speak with. Info and Auction channels bring you information from around the world. For each of the channels, there is also a separate emote command that allows you to use socials or emotes over virtually any channel in the game.
We also have bulletin boards for posting your views to the MUD, and mudmail for leaving messages to other players. To communicate with the gods, we have Altars where you can pray your message.
